I cannot tolerate ( nor do I like)stevia or xylitol– is there anything else I can use in recipes that call for these?

Hi, Carla! You can use luo han guo, a chinese herb substitute for stevia and xylitol. If you’re already in the fast metabolism diet maintenance, you can use coconut sugar and raw honey as natural sweeteners. Hope this helps! 🙂

I started the FMD and on week 2. I have NOT lost a pound. I am a very healthy and active person, trying to follow to a tee but very frustrated.

I am week 3 of FMD and have only lost 4 lbs. I am taking sublingual hormones. Do you think this has slowed my process. I only have about 4-5 lbs more to go.

Hi Janet! It is better to bring the book along with you to your physician and consult the diet in your next appointment. Your physician may advise you to revise the diet (like changing your portion) so that the diet will work in your condition. Alternatively, you can try the H Burn . It is one of the components of the Burn that aids weight loss by targeting on balancing hormones. You can learn more about The Burn in this article. Hope this helps!
